Simulator
TERRA
One simulator, built to evolve. Start where you are today, and add to it when you are ready.
Built around you
TERRA is ImSim's modular racing simulator platform, available from a static configuration to a complete motion setup.

You don't need to decide everything on day one
-
01
TERRA Static
The platform, the seat, the steering and the pedals. It drives from the first day, and nothing about it is temporary.
-
02
Add sensory feedback
Four transducers, two at the front and two at the rear, turn what the car is doing into something the body reads, without the machine moving at all.
-
03
Add motion
Actuators go under the same chassis. Nothing above them is replaced, and the room does not change.
-
04
Complete setup
The full configuration on this platform. The machine bought on day one is the machine it ends as.
Driving position
The position moves to the driver
Steering height, pedal plate and seat all move on the chassis, and they move in seconds, without tools. Drivers of any build share the same machine, and nobody settles for someone else’s position.
-
01
Seat
Pull the lever and the seat runs fore and aft on the chassis rail.
-
02
Steering height
A button on the column, and the wheel rises or drops to meet the driver.
-
03
Pedal plate
The whole plate moves, so the reach changes without changing the angle.
Motion
Add motion when you're ready
A motion system moves the whole chassis, so the loads a car puts into a driver arrive where a driver reads them: through the seat, the belts and the feet.
Braking
The front actuators draw down and the rear ones extend.
Accelerating
The opposite, and the seat pushes into the driver's back.
Cornering
Seen from the front. One side lifts, the other drops.
Surface
All four together, for kerbs, crests and bumps.
D-BOX
FIA-licensed, and the system most ImSim installations run.
Qubic System
Longer stroke, built to hold precision under continuous load.
- Configurations
- Two or four actuators, fitted at order or added later on the same chassis.
Sensory feedback
Feel what the car is doing
Seen from above, four transducers sit in the chassis: a pair under the pedals and a pair under the seat, left and right. They stand for the four tyres of the car, and each is driven on its own, so a cue arrives from the corner where it happens.
Four transducers, one per corner
Tactile system · fitted to every TERRA
Select a transducer on the plan to see the corner it stands for.
Front right
FR · tactile transducer
Kerbs on this side, and the moment this tyre locks up.
Front left
FL · tactile transducer
The same on the other side, on a channel of its own.
Rear right
RR · tactile transducer
With the left rear, where a slide announces itself.
Rear left
RL · tactile transducer
Traction out of a corner, and wheelspin before it shows.
- Kerbs and road textureWhat the tyres are running over, corner by corner
- Engine and gear shiftsRPM through the chassis, and the shift where it lands
- GripWheel spin, slip and ABS, from the end of the car that lost it
The platform takes the hardware you choose
Wheel and wheelbase
A standard deck, drilled for the mounts the market uses.
Pedals
ImSim Talento, or any other set on the market that fits the plate.
Shifter and handbrake
Either side of the seat, on brackets that move with it.
- Displays
- One or three. On the simulator, or on the ImSim stand.
- Flight controls
- Stick, throttle and rudder, on the same machine.
- VR
- Instead of the screens, or alongside them.
Software
We control every part of it
The motion, the tactile feedback, the wheelbase, the actuators — all of it runs on software we wrote ourselves. Nothing is handed to somebody else’s black box, which is why the motion agrees with the physics and why any of it can be tuned to the driver in front of it.
And it drives practically every title that matters in this industry, racing and flight. The FAQ lists them.
