Thirty-five years of building difficult machines
ImSim grew out of SIRMAF, which has designed and built special machines for the automotive industry since 1989 — the equipment other manufacturers assemble and test their parts on. That is why our simulators are engineered the way they are, and why they survive commercial use.

You will be within walking distance of the thing you are building. Design it on Monday, drive it on Friday.

Learn on real problems
Motion control, structural design, embedded software, physics. Nobody here got this from a course.

Small enough that your work is visible, and that a good argument changes the product.

A life outside it
Coimbra is a forty-minute drive from the sea and an hour from the mountains. We would like you to use that.
