Simulator
GARRA
One body, engineered as a single machine. Four actuators, four channels of feedback, and everything a driver touches specified with you.
What is the ImSim GARRA?
GARRA is ImSim’s flagship racing simulator. A proprietary tactile system lets the driver feel the car through vibration at each of its four corners, and the sound arrives through the seat rather than around it.
The screen stays still while the machine moves, carried on a stand of its own. The computer is built in, so the whole simulator runs off a single cable. It can be driven static, or on four D-BOX G5 actuators.
Everything a driver touches — screen, wheelbase, wheel, pedals, seat — is specified with you, and the platform takes practically any hardware on the market.
One body. Your hardware inside it.
The chassis, the bodywork and the motion were engineered as one machine — 2320 mm long, 900 mm across, 1360 mm tall. What sits inside it is yours to specify: screen, wheelbase, wheel, pedals and seat are chosen per order, and the platform takes practically any hardware on the market.

Motion
Four actuators. The screen stays still.
A D-BOX G5 Motion Kit 4250i sits under the chassis, one actuator at each corner. The body pitches, rolls and heaves with the car; the screen is carried on its own stand and does not move with it, so the horizon stays where a horizon belongs and long stints stay comfortable.
The motion system is D-BOX. Its motion technology is officially approved by the FIA.

Sensory feedback
Four corners, four channels
Motion tells the body where the car is going. The tactile system tells it what the tyres are doing. Four transducers sit in the chassis, one for each corner of the car, and each is driven on its own — so a wheel spinning at the rear arrives at the rear, and a front tyre locking arrives under the feet.
Four transducers, one per corner
Tactile system · fitted to every GARRA
Select a transducer on the plan to see the corner it stands for.
Front right
FR · tactile transducer
Kerbs on this side, and the moment this tyre locks up.
Front left
FL · tactile transducer
The same on the other side, on a channel of its own.
Rear right
RR · tactile transducer
With the left rear, where a slide announces itself.
Rear left
RL · tactile transducer
Traction out of a corner, and wheelspin before it shows.
- Front pairBeside the pedal plate, where the front tyres speak
- Rear pairUnder the seat, where the back of the car does
- Each on its ownFour channels, so a cue arrives from the corner it happens at
- 01
Wheel spin and wheel slip
Per corner, which is how a driver tells the two apart without looking.
- 02
ABS
Through the pedal, where it happens in a car.
- 03
Surfaces and kerbs
Gravel, kerbs and road texture, on the corner that meets them.
- 04
Engine and gearshifts
Revs through the seat, shifts through the chassis.
Driving position
Any driver, in seconds
The steering column rises and drops on a button, and the pedal plate slides to the feet. Nobody carries tools to the machine and nobody drives in somebody else’s position — which is what makes a GARRA work on a venue floor as well as it works in a house.
-
01
Steering height
A button on the column, and the wheel rises or drops to meet the driver.
-
02
Pedal position
The whole plate moves, so the reach changes without changing the angle.
-
03
Then drive
A session starts from the screen in under thirty seconds. No mouse, no keyboard.
The finish
Any colour you can point at
The body is painted before it ships, to a colour you choose. Beyond paint there is vinyl, and beyond vinyl there are machines built one at a time.

These five are examples, not a range. A GARRA is painted to whatever colour you ask for — matched to a room, or matched to a car in your garage — as long as it is physically possible.
01
Paint
Any colour you can give us a reference for. Send a code, a sample, or the car.
02
Vinyl
Graphics and liveries over the paint, and your own cars and liveries inside the simulator.
03
Special projects
Carbon fibre bodywork and machines built to a brief, one at a time. Closer to another service than to an option.
A piece of design, before anything else
GARRA was drawn to be looked at, not only driven. The body is one continuous surface, the light is built into it rather than added on, and the machine holds a room the way a sculpture does — a statement, wherever it stands.
Software
We control every part of it
The motion, the tactile feedback, the wheelbase, the actuators — all of it runs on software we wrote ourselves. Nothing is handed to somebody else’s black box, which is why the motion agrees with the physics and why any of it can be tuned to the driver in front of it.
On top of that sits the launcher: a driver sits down, picks a car and a track on the screen in front of them, and goes. No mouse, no keyboard, nobody standing behind them. It drives practically every title that matters in this industry, racing and flight. The FAQ lists them.
Technical data
Dimensions and specification
Measured on the 49-inch single screen with four D-BOX actuators, which is how a GARRA ships.
Side · 2320 × 1360 mm
Plan · 900 mm body, 1200 mm across the screen
| Dimensions | 2320 mm long, 900 mm across the body, 1360 mm high. The screen reaches 1200 mm across |
|---|---|
| Motion | D-BOX G5 Motion Kit 4250i. Four actuators, fitted as standard |
| Tactile system | ImSim’s own. Four transducers, one per corner, independently driven |
| Screen | 49-inch curved ultrawide, on the ImSim GARRA stand. Static under motion |
| Controls | Standard build: direct drive wheelbase, premium GT wheel, 5-inch dashboard, TALENTO throttle and brake. All specified per order |
| Adjustment | Steering height on the column and pedal plate fore and aft, both without tools |
| Finish | Painted to any colour that is physically possible. Vinyl and carbon fibre as special projects |
| Delivered with | Transport box, ImSim Rig Lifter and mobility trolley |
| Manufacture | Designed, engineered and built by ImSim in Europe |
The hardware above is the standard build. Screen, wheelbase, wheel, pedals and seat are specified with you, so a machine on your floor may read differently.
